poor voice quality when checking voicemail

i have users that complain of poor voice quality when checking voice mail on and off network. it works fine for me when i test - but i am looking for any possible leads.

So many questions we'd have to ask you (just a few examples - I'm sure others would have additional advice):

- Unity codec you are using

- Version Unity; PBX and version (Are you using voice cards in Unity server?)

- Separate VLAN for data and voice?

- Quality of service for voice?

- Is it one-way audio?

- Unity NICs - using adaptive/fault tolerant mode - meaning two NICs are not working independently?
