Hi Friends,
In few days i am going to install Cisco presence at client's site...I dont know much about the QOS requirements of presence. like how to match traffic and how much bandwidth i need to preserve ..
Is there anyone who can guide me on this ..

QoS is a wide topic. Usually, QoS won't be a concern if we have sufficient bandwidth.
CUPS is a server. It majorly handles SIP traffic, which is not very sensitive to delay, jitter or packet drop.
Could you share why QoS becomes your concern?

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. my only concern is that traffic from CUPC to server doesnt get delayed .. I wanna put that traffic into atleast interactive queue in my network... so my question is how to match the traffic ?? how should i create the acccess-list to match presence traffic . i also have click to dial configured in my network...

There are two kinds of traffic between CUPC and CUPS: SOAP and SIP.
For SOAP, I believe it's with destination port 8443.
For SIP, it's 5060.
