Question: Error: Event id 800 Source : CiscoUnity_Wav

Hi guys,

I am getting this error on my Application log

Source : CiscoUnity_Wav

Event id 800

Description : Cisco Unity's Multi-media component has encountered a serious error

Techincal Details

Thread 0x00001BE0 had a failure in AvWav

This happens when I try to leave a voicemail. The MWI do not go on but I can retreive the voicemail from the phone.

Please, I need assistance. Is this error making MWI not to go on? how can I resolve this error problem.

From my experience, you may have had someone remotely logged in to your Unity server in console only mode.  This causes the 800 event id error code - but you may want to check with TAC to confirm.  Note if this did happen, you will need to reboot the Unity server to get your voicemail ports back.
