Question on Cisco Unity Session and Ports

I have a questions on Unity session and ports. The Unity installation I have has the following specifications:-

UNITYV4-300USR Unity VM, 300 users (w/ 16 sessions)

I am about to install CUSPA and it asked me for the number of ports. Is the number of ports equal to the number of sessions, which is 16 here? Or is it something else that could be more than 16 port? How can I check the number of ports that I am entitled with this bundle? Thanks!

Note: The server used is MCS-7835-H1-ECS1

Re: Question on Cisco Unity Session and Ports

ports means sessions in this case - so in other words you can have 16 calls being handled by Unity at any given time.

Re: Question on Cisco Unity Session and Ports

Ports and sessions are used synonymously by Cisco for the number of concurrent users that can be "dialed-in" to the Unity system. In this case it looks like your port count would be 16.

Good luck!
