When I try to change the default ringtone on the 6945, I can only get the chirp 1 and chirp 2 to work. When I try any other ringtone, I just get "Unknown Error" on my display. Any ideas

The same thing with the 6921

Hi,

Chirp1 and Chirp2 are inbuild in Ip phone ond other requires special configuration.

Below is the configuration steps and file format required for the ringtone.

Hi James,

Sounds like one of these bugs;

CSCtr97656 - Default ringtones for 69xx phones not working in version 9-2-1-0

CSCtx04784 - Default ringtones for 6945 phones not working in version 9-2-2

Cheers!

Rob

Hi

That's the one (+5) - I had this recently. Fixed firmware was SCCP69xx.9-2-2-6-ES1, which I had to get from TAC.
