Hi

I have Call Manager .0 setup and the IP Phones are not registered. The Phones receive IP addresses, however when I try to ping the phones from Call Manager it times out. Does anyone know what could be the possible fix for this. NB The call Manager is on 192.168.130.1/27 network, the phones are on 192.168.65.0/24 and 192.168.66.0/24 networks. I am able to ping the Call Manager IP Address but not the phones

even if a phone is not registered but has the ip address config (DHCP or manual) it should reply to a ping

i'd check the routing in first place

Hi

I was also to resolve this problem, on the dhcp subnet I had put the wrong gateway for the voice vlan subnets. I changed it to the correct gateway and now the phones are registered.

Can you put a PC on the 192.168.130.x network and then try to ping the phones ? This may be a simple routing problem.
