Dear sir,

2800 router with 2portfxs----wan leased line pont to pont ------2800 router with 2 port fxs

now on both side i will connect analog phones to fxs on both sides like this i have head office and 3 branch offices .

so plz tell me how can i configure fxs to fxs on 2800 router .plz give me any examples.

You cannot connect fxs to fxs, you can connect fxs to fxo port.

Hi,

Example:

voice-ports on HQ are in slot 0/0 (Ext 1000) and 0/1 (ext 1001)

voice-ports on Branch are in slot 0/0 (Ext 2000) and 0/1 (ext 2001)

Configure HQ side as following:

dial-peer voice 1000 pots

destination-pattern 1000

port 0/0

dial-peer voice 1001 pots

destination-pattern 1001

port 0/1

dial-peer voice 2000 voip

destination-pattern 2...

session-target ipv4:x.x.x.x (IP Address of Branch router)

Configure Branch side as following:

dial-peer voice 2000 pots

destination-pattern 2000

port 0/0

dial-peer voice 2001 pots

destination-pattern 2001

port 0/1

dial-peer voice 1000 voip

destination-pattern 1...

session-target ipv4:x.x.x.x (IP Address of HQ router)
