I have 2 Unity servers conneted to seperate DC/GC/Exchanges in seperate domain sites. I was wondering how long should it take for a new subscriber to get respicated to the other Unity server? Also, is there a way to check the replication status?
The timeframe will depend on the site replication strategy that has been configured by your AD folks. An interval in minutes that determines how often replication can occur is set (default is every 180 minutes, or 3 hours). The minimum interval is 15 minutes. If the interval exceeds the time allowed by the schedule, replication occurs once at the scheduled time. AD replication can be submitted ahead of configured settings by using authorized AD Sites and Services and drilling down to the specific site and server (DC or GC) and selecting NTDS Settings. On the right-side of the MMC, select the server and right-click. Select Replicate Now. This command may be used by a Domain Admin to push an early update to all domain controllers.
