Restrict Unity subscribers from changing setup options
Is there a way to restrict certain subscribers from changing the greeting and other VM setup otions? For example; we had the person who records the prompts for the AA also record the greetings for our operator subscriber and since then one of our operators has changed it. How do we lock our operators out from changing?
Re: Restrict Unity subscribers from changing setup options
You, you can't selectively remove greeting administration from the subscriber setup conversation. In the upcoming 4.3(1) release (which will be called 5.0(1) when it goes out the door) you can turn off high level sections of the setup conversation for users associated with one of the 3 custom key conversations. So you'd be able to create a conversation option that did not allow any greeting management access at all and assign those usrs (your operators presumably) to that conversation.
