Role of Cisco IM and Presence Server

Hey Guys,

I am yet to work on 9.x. On the Cisco site it says all features of CUP has been integrated to CUCM 9.x. Does this mean to deploy Windows Jabber I dont require IM and Presence/CUPS ?

No, you still need to deploy the IM&P server, that just means that most of the config has been moved over to CUCMadmin, at least regarding Jabber/CUPC
