Could someone send a screen capture of what a phone status icon should look like in Sametime client. I have the plugins install and the troubleshooter show everything is green but I am getting no phone status icon. Sametime server is 8.5 and client is 8.
I run a RTMT trace and I could see SIP Publish message between CUCM and CUPS. My UserID are all OK. Do you know where else I could look? I read through all the forum but nothing seems to be able to resolve my issue. CUPS is version 7.0.7 Sametime is 8.5
1) Install a CUPC on the same computer as the Sametime client. See if CUPC got the phone presence. If yes, that means the presence info got delivered to the client computer.
If #1 checked out, the problem is on user ID mapping. The plug-in needs to correlate a CUPS/CUCM ID to a Sametime user to properly display the phone icon. The mapping mechanism is very flexible (yet very complicated). Please check Cisco document for details.
