seconday NIC on Cisco MCS Appliance

Hi All,

Is possible to make the Cisco Call Manager use the eth1 on MCS instead to use eth0 ?

If yes, how can I change it ?

If no, what is the reason to have eth1 at the MCS Hw ?

Re: seconday NIC on Cisco MCS Appliance

set network ip eth0

This command sets the IP address for Ethernet interface 0. You cannot  configure Ethernet interface 1.

The reason you have 2 is for failover purposes:

set network failover

This command enables and disables Network Fault Tolerance on the Media  Convergence Server network interface card.
