Securing Unity Public Distribution Lists

Hi

We have a requirement to secure public dist. lists in Unity 4.2(1). I can't find any specific docco on how to do it ... appreciate any feedback.

Hi -

This is done from Active Directory Users and Computers (for Exchange integrations), which you can do on your Unity server. Go to Properties for the selected Distribution List and select the Exchange General Tab. You want to configure Message Restriction settings. For example, we configure Message restriction for the All Subscribers - unityservername distribution list by selecting Accept Messages: Only From: either userids or groups that we want to authorize. Save the updates by replying OK.

Did this but still seems to be no restriction ... is there a process that updates this or should the restriction occur automatically.

Hi .. must have been some delay as the restrictions are now in place (although it would have been better to advise of the failure rather than stating 'sent' and then sending a delivery receipt failure message)
