Status of Called DN Number CUCM 8.6

Hello,

Just deployed a CUCM 8.6 cluster with Unity Connection as well as Unified Presence. On our old 3Com system, when you picked up the phone and called someone who was already on the phone, it told you on the screen that they were on the phone. The CUCM deployment does not do that for me. I have 7942's, 7962's, 7975's, 8941's, 8961's, 9951's, etc and no combination of devices shows this. The only way I'm able to tell is for the few people I've setup on Cisco Jabber, the client on the computer shows their status. Is there no Native option in CUCM that will display this information? Or is there a simple setting I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

Hi Tony,

You can use Busy Lamp Field Speed-Dial buttons on the caller phone to monitor other phones' status.

It has a limited usability since you have only so many buttons on a phone.

Alternatively you can enable native CUCM presence for missed call, placed call, or received call lists in the phone directories window.
