Transcoding CCM register failed

I have a problem with the following:

I do not understand Max Phones Exceeded why ? Can that be at I had to define sccp ccm 192.168.1.1 identifier 1 version 7.0 while I have 8.6

Hi,

What are the gateway IOS and CUCM versions?

Are you using 'mtp001906528fa9' as the Transcoder name on cucm page, please make sure it is exactly the same as defined on gateway.

Can you post the 'debugs sccp packets' output after doing a no sccp / sccp.

Please, explain, what r u trying to do. R u trying to configure Transcoder for CUCM or CME?

1) CME.

As I see from ur configuration, u r trying to register Transcoder with CME, because u've got 'ip source-address 192.168.1.1 port 2000' under telephony service configuration that matches 

sccp local FastEthernet0/1.10
sccp ccm 192.168.1.1 identifier 1 version 7.0

So ur Transcoder tries to register with CME.

If this is the aim, then u need to add to your configuration:

telephony-service
 sdspfarm units 1
 sdspfarm transcode sessions 5
 sdspfarm tag 1 mtp001906528fa9

2) CUCM.

If u try to register Transcoder with CUCM, then u need to correct ur config.

a) If IP-address of CUCM is not 192.168.1.1:

sccp local FastEthernet0/1.10
sccp ccm IP_address_of_CUCM(not 192.168.1.1) identifier 1 version 7.0

Add address to FastEthernet0/1.10 (not 192.168.1.1), test connectivity with CUCM, configure transcoder in CUCM.

b) IP address of CUCM is 192.168.1.1:

Correct IP-address in telephony-service:

ip source address X.X.X.X port 2000

As kglushen said, if you are aiming to register those DSP resources with CME then you need to add the following to your telephony service:

telephony-service
 sdspfarm units 1
 sdspfarm transcode sessions 5
 sdspfarm tag 1 mtp001906528fa9

Max ephones in this case has nothing to do with your DSPs as ephones by nature run SCCP.

If getting error message

If getting error message "registration rejected maximum phones exceeded" after upgrade then the possible cause can be missing the End User License Agreement.
