Transparent signaling configuration

Hello, I have a PBX that we want to connect to a Cisco GW through an E1 connection, this GW to another GW through Fastethernet and finally the second GW to a second PBX through another E1:

PBX_1--E1_1--GW_1--FE--GW_2--E1_2--PBX_2

I used this configuration on both GWs but it's not working, when I issue the command "show voice port summary", the trunk is down.

Do you see anything wrong at the configs?. Any help would be appreciated.

You are using to use transparent signaling, but that configuration is not enough. There would be many more commands needed.

Begin with regular PRI configuration and you will have better results.

Of course, you need to check "show controller E1 to be Ok before anything may work.

When you say "regular PRI

configuration", what do you mean? Typically we only configure framing, and the command "pri-group" but it's not allowed here since I am using ds0-group.

The show controller E1 is showing some errors but not too many, maybe it is the cause of the problem
