Re: try to move my Unity 4.04 from one platform to a new one
I assume the 4.0(4) system you did the back up of was upgraded from an older build of Unity, right? The greetings for the system created handlers (opening greeting, goodbye and operator call handler) had their greetings stored in the DefaultConfiguration path as noted in the error message - this was a bit puzzling and highly annoying since you had to worry about backing greetings up from both places. This was changed along the way to stuff them all in the streamfiles path instead with everything else. The upgrade _should_ have moved them but apprently that's not the case.
The easiest way to go about fixing this is to manually adjust the greeting files for those three handlers (the greetings for the default administrator will be in there as well).
