UC to Unity Networking - Need to Share Phone Directories

I have a Unity Connection 8.X in the U.S. and want to be able to route calls coming into its AutoAttendant to Europe for phones/VM boxes who live off of the seperate Unity/CUCM cluster. Essentially, I just need to make the phone directory of the U.S. Unity Connection to be aware of, and how to reach the Unity Subscribers off of Unity in Europe. Would it be simply digital networking or do I need to look at VPIM? (I don't care about exchanging messages). The other option I was going to use (for down-and-dirty and since I have 1000 extra Subscriber licenses) is just to have the Europe Unity folks export their Subscribers, and I can import them into the U.S. Unity Connection (our CUCM clusters are trunked together and have 5-digit routing between them).

Any thoughts/ideas are appreciated.

Hi Michael,

We run a single site here so I don't have experience with your exact

scenario, but I would try setting up the users from Europe as "Contacts"

in CUC if all you need is the Directory aspect of Networking.

This way you wouldn't need pricey $$ user licenses
