UC520: How to show during a call transfer that a user is on the line?

I have a small office with a UC520 and 8 7960's.  The users complain that when they want to transfer a call to someone that is on the call already, they get rings and then voicemail.  Is there a way to show that the user is presently on the line?  Thank You.

You would have to setup BLFs on each phones line.  Since you have 7960 phones, you can only use 5 other lines on that phone. (6th line is their own line)

Busy Lamp Field will display if the person is on/off hook. (presence)

You have the option of adding on a side car or 7916 to the phone to add more lines.
