We have run into a bit of a dilemma since we started using the queue email function in UCCX. We have numerous phone scripts setup to roll into voicemail if no agents answer the calls in queue. These unity boxes are always tied to a team mailbox that these agents also handle request from. We have moved to Cisco queue email to eliminate these team mailboxes. The unfortunate part is that queue email uses distribution groups instead of a physical mailbox. This eliminates the untiy to mailbox tie connection since unity can’t be tied to a distribution group
Has anyone found a way to work around an issue like this so voicemail can be sent into the proper queue email? It looks like queue email understands which group to route it to by email address but I can’t get unity to forward with the proper email address.
