Unable to access voicemail when no messages in mailbox

I have Unity 4.0(4)SR1. I have a user on the system that is unable to access his voicemail when there are no messages in his mailbox. He puts in his password and it tells him the password is invaild. He calls his voicemail leaves himself a message. Accesses his voicemail puts in the same password and it lets him right in?? I have completley removed his user and recreated it and it is still happening.

Can you try resetting the password for that user? I understand that you have recreated Subscriber on the Server.

Yes I have reset the password, the password does work but only when you have a message in the voicemail box.

Hi Carla,

I would go to TAC with this "odd" one. I did some research I found someone having this exact problem a year ago (to the day) Sadly the thread does not have any resolution but does have some pointers from Unity "top dog" Lindborg;

Hope this helps! (I know it's not great :(
