Hi all,

(the end users are already existed in the "End User Informaiton" Presence Server page

and try to login the User application - Cisco Unified Presence User Options via the web GUI

however, after I entered the username and password,

it returns "HTTP Status 403 - Access to the requested resource has been denied"

How can i resolve it?

Thanks

Hi

I would check that the user in question has :

CUP License capability in CCMAdmin

CCM Standard End Users membership in CCMAdmin

In fact, try restarting the UP Sync service on CUPS...

If you get a similar error afterwards it might be something like this : https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/314498

I found that there is a missing role of CCM Standard End Users in CCM Admin

I have added the role, but still can't login ...

do I have to restart any service in Presence Server ? or it's auto sync between CCM and CUP ??

And I found that in CUCM Publisher Configuration,

The sync status is: Sync Completed, but currently failed to connect to the CUCM Database Monitor. Retrying ...

Does it relate to my problem?

Thanks

Hi

Quite possibly - use RTMT connected to your CUCM cluster to verify the 'alerts' status - look for any 'critical service down' type alerts.
