Unified Call Connector as operator console?

Has anyone implemented this as an operator console solution? We implemented a CME solution this year with ARC Express as an operator console, but ARC Express is PLAUGED with issues, with bad patches, etc.

I would do a side cart on a phone, but we have about 100 people in our office, so the only solution our VAR recommended was ARC Express.
