Unified Enterprise Attendant Console - Patching

Hi All,

One of our Clients wants to apply patch on Cisco Unified Enterprise attendant Console server (version 8.0.0.535) running on Windows 2008 server.  Just wonder if there is any restriction about it.  Can it be patched like regular windows server, or it can only run Cisco approved patches? Any ideas ?

Hi Payal,

No, there are no special guidelines from Cisco to patch the Windows server for attendant consoles. They can be patched like other Windows servers. The same is confirmed by ARC solutions ( Cisco's OEM partner for Attendant Consoles ) at the forum here http://forum.arcsolutions.com/showthread.php?1598-PDIHD-110307-000410-Policy-for-applying-MS-OS-Patches-on-CUBAC-server&highlight=windows+patches

Not sure if you can access above portal but the answer is very much as given above.
