Im working with Unity 4.0(3) in a mixed mode exchange environment (Ex5.5 and 2003). This site has a production Ex5.5 server and has put up a new Unity server for test. The Ex2003 subscribers work fine. With the new system, Ex5.5 subscribers can not log in using the TUI. They get a sorry, the system is temporarily unavailable message. In the event log, we See MALEx errors which indicate that the Ex 5.5 mail store can not by opened. These subscribers can receive messages into their mailbox. We have run the permission wizard and granted exchange rights per Ciscos doc.

Yes. We followed directions. We have tried re-running the Perm Wizard, granting exchange rights, Service config, and Message Store Wizards.
