In your bulk import csv, are you including the user's alias as a column of data? If not, the import uses an Exchange alias generation instructed by the subscriber template, which may not be what you want. Something else to check, when you do code the user's alias column in the csv, the import uses the Global Address List to locate the user. I might be inclined to validate the Unity server's GC setting using the DC/GC Reconnect tool even though you don't see any application errors. And maybe one other thing to check - is this the system with SQL 2000 SP4 on only the primary Unity server? I don't know enough about the relationship of Bulk Import and the database in a failover configuration, but it would be another area to check if it were my system. We use the Bulk Import all the time on Unity 4.0(5) and have not seen this problem.
