when leaving a message for a subscriber the port will right away go into idle as this is how we have it set under messages--> after message action send caller to hang up. now when a person gets to a persons greeting but hangs up without leaving a message that port goes to :playing greeting for call handler:opening greeting. this ties up the port for a min or so. how do we correct this?
Sounds like Unity is not receiving disconnect signaling from the phone system. For example, with a CCM system, CCM should force the Unity port on-hook when the call disconnects. A TAC case may help you root out where the disconnect signaling is being lost.
