In preparing for the holidays, we are setting up alternate greetings on our call handlers as usual. However, we are struck by the fact that there is no expiration on the call handler alternate greeting like there is on personal mailboxes. Any ideas? Is this feature available in a newer version?
yes, for Unity expirable greetings are only for subscribers (intended for things like out of office on PTO type scenarios where you can manage them over the phone).
As an aside, Unity Connection has dedicated holiday greetings for both subscribers and call handlers and more granular holiday schedules so you can set up your holiday greetings ahead of time without any hassles.
