Unity 5.0 Domino and exchange during migration

We are currently unity 5.0 with domino 6.5.

We will be moving to exchange 2007 .

To make the migration smoother is it possible to have both domino and exchange message stores on the same Unity server?

so i can remove the mailboxes a few at a time from domino and recreate them on exchange 2007?

then remove the domino message store when all of the mail boxes have been moved.

thanks jeff

Re: Unity 5.0 Domino and exchange during migration

Hi,

No, Unity will not work with both Domino and Exchange message stores at the same time. Additionally, the Disaster Recovery Tool (DiRT), which backs up and restores Unity data, cannot be used to back up Unity for Domino data and restore it to a Unity for Exchange system. To migrate from Domino to Exchange (or vice-versa) requires a complete re-install of Unity.

Sorry to break the bad news to you.
