This is a known issue, see CSCso68194. The next version of CUBI should have the fix. I don't know if that version has made it onto CiscoUnityTools.com yet. If not, according to the bug release notes, Cisco TAC should be able to get a fix for you.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to track down where those ES readme notes come from and get them fixed. I believe the help file included with the ES also has the correct syntax. So it seems just the ES readme is wrong.
