Unity Advanced Settings Tools

Unity 4.05 - trying to understand the behaviour of the setting -

"Set max number of rings to wait for trap calls."

Default is 4.

I changed it to 2.

Unity calls the phone (trap call). it rings twice and hangs up.

then after a brief pause. it calls again and rings two more times and then it

says "the specified phone number is not answering"

After changing the setting from 4(default) to 2, I did restart Unity services as well as rebooted Unity, with out any change.

The problem seem to get fixed, if I remove the integration between CM and Unity and recreate it.

Any thoughts ??
