Unity is not utilizing transcoding resources for ASR. We have unity VM ports in a device pool that speaks g729 with all of the other regions and in this pool we have a MRGL that have transcoding resources in it. However:when remote users dials into unity, ASR does not work for them. The only way we were able to make this work if we make the region of the VM ports to speak G711 with all of the configured regions. We know about the ASR requirements that it needs G711 but we are not sure as to why transcoding not being utilized. Is this how its designed or are we missing something here.
