Does Unity Connection 1.2 automatically go to publisher if subscriber callmanager is down?
Forgive if this question seems silly. But..
When I configured Unity Connection 1.2 integration to callmanager using the Unity Connection wizard, I noticed it only asks for the "primary callmanager server". I put in the publisher. And continued on with the wizard. I noticed there was no place to put in secondary callmanagers servers like in configuring integration with Unity 3.x and 4.x.
I also noticed that in callmanager 5.x, the unity connection ports is registered to the publisher.
Based on the voicemail port registration in callmanager and the configuration in cisco unity connection, it looks like if one callmanager fails, unity won't roll over to the next callmanager. I haven't gotten a chance to fail over the system to confirm this behavior.
