Reference Case #682233372

Reference Case #682233372

Adjusted the throttling on the Unity Connection and on the Exchange Server.  Verified that the Service Pack on the Exchange Server was Service Pack 3.

And this...

Problem description:
Messages not getting deleted on unity after deleting the messages from exchange.

Resolution summary:

>> Receiving error on the exchange: "After 5 unsuccessful attempts to send a notification for subscription [HQBzZ3ZtLWV4Y2gyMDEwLnNhZmVndWFyZGl0LmNvbRAAAADlrrFwftOnQpCNnHgHxN0dEzcrViJ01Ag=] against endpoint [  http://192.168.8.15:7080/NotificationService/services/NotificationService?id=147b8b1a-baba-49c7-83c6-d79e02534af3&pid=18542], the subscription has been removed. Details: WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. StatusCode: InternalServerError Server Error at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult)   at Microsoft.Exchange.Services.Core.NotificationServiceClient.HandleResponse(IAsyncResult responseAsyncResult)" >> test is successful and connected between unity and exchange. >> Checked if paging is enabled on the unity or not. >> Increased the thread count on the unity for UMS. >> Restarted the connection notifier, connection Mailbox Sync and Connection Jetty service. >> Checked if there is any error coming on the exchange. >> There are no errors. >> The error mentioned above comes either if there is a firewall between exchange and the unity or if the unity connection services stop responding properly. So this error comes on the exchange after there are multiple retries sent to the unity from the exchange and afterwards the process kills and gives this error. >> There is one more issue with the exchange 2010 SP3,that if we try to delete the messages the messages do not delete on just pressing delete. We need to do a hard delete by pressing shift + Delete to delete the email from outlook and this will delete the voicemail on the user mailbox as well. >> Upgrading to Exchange 2013 can help in this issue. >> Issue stands resolved.
