Although I have seen many people ask the same question and I have browsed through the answers I still do not have a clear understanding of why I am getting the "Sorry (custom greeting) is not available" message.
Using Business Edition 7.0 with Unity Connection 7.0
In Call Manager Admin
Created a CTI route point called AA1
Associated Line 1 with extention 2950
In Unity Admin
Created a system Handler called AA-Greeting, assigned extension 2950 and recorded greeting.
When I dial 2950 from an IP phone I get the sorry message but I want it to play my greeting only so that I can set up an AA.
Some suggestions I read were not to use system call handlers - but those are the only call handlers I can find...
Am I close? The documentation is all over the place and I have been at this for some time. Ultimatly I want calls going to 2950 to play a greeting with menu options 1,2,3 - just standard AA stuff.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Heath
