Unity Connection 7.1.3 Playing 'Sorry' Before a Call
I have set up Unity Connection 7, version 184.108.40.2060-68, in a lab. I created a new Direct Routing Rule called 'Company' that sends incoming external calls to a Call Handler called 'New Company Greeting' and recorded a greeting "You have reached ABC Compnay ...". However, when a call comes in, Unity Connection is playing the word "Sorry" first and then the greeting, so you hear "Sorry" "You have reached ABC Company ...". I can't figure out where the "Sorry" is coming from and how to stop it. Appreciate any help with this.
Re: Unity Connection 7.1.3 Playing 'Sorry' Before a Call
This is because you are recording the greeting on the "recorded name" section of the main call handler's profile page. You want to make sure you go to Edit>Greetings and record the greeting there for the Standard greeting.
That's because the Call Handler doesn't have Owner attached to it. Open your System Call Handlers -> "New Company Greeting" handler. Go to Edit menu and select Call Handler Owners. Attach any user as the owner to that handler. The annoying "Sorry" message should disappear.
Thanks Cisco for an easy and convenient interface for finding and troubleshooting issues. Just wasted heaps of my time on this stupid error.

The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
