I need to deploy Unity Connection 7, but I need to know if I should deploy it in the same subnet with Exchange like Unity or no need for this?

Hi -
To add to what Mijanur has already noted in his post, you should also make sure your Unity Connection server is not separated by firewall from other applications - here is a great reference for the Unity Connections 7.X ports and their usage - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6509/products_tech_note09186a0080a9b34b.shtml; also if you are considering UC clusters there is a minimum network connectivity performance for servers referenced in this link - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/7x/requirements/7xcucsysreqs.html#wp151620

Unity Connection don't have dependency with mailstore on Exchange like Unity have. U can install it on different subnet, you might need to add LDAP profile but that's also not need to be on same subnet.
