Unity Connection 8.5 Cluster Problem

I have upgraded to 8.5.1.13900-5 but I am having a problem with the cluster.

They cant see each other.

When I do a

Show CUC cluster status

i publisher I see

Server               State          Internal State                             Reason

MYSERVERA - Primary - Sec Act Primary Disconnected  - Normal

MYSERVERB - Disconnected      Unknown                         Unknown

On subscriber I see

Server               State          Internal State                             Reason

MYSERVERA - Disconnected      Unknown                         Unknown

MYSERVERB - Primary - Sec Act Primary Disconnected  - Normal

I have tried to change the security password

set password user security  - on both boxes.

FYI - On the web gui - under cluster management - both see each other as 'unreachable'

Any other advice ??

Re: Unity Connection 8.5 Cluster Problem

Hi,

You'll want to get the output of utils cuc dbreplication status and make sure the enterprise replication has an RTMT status of (2) across the board.  If not, it's similar to CUCM and you'll need to possibly rebuild enterprise replication between the two servers first before UC replication will work.  If ER looks good, then you'll likely need a TAC SR to investigate why UC replication may be broken.

Hope that helps,

Brad

Re: Unity Connection 8.5 Cluster Problem

It would appear that my enterprise replication is not working due to servers being unreachable

Should I just rebuild the subscriber again ??

What creditentals are used by CUC for replication - is it just the 'security password'

I reset this on both boxes - is there any other creditentals I should check / reset ??

Any help appreciated

James
