Unity Connection 1.2
IMAP clients using Microsoft Outlook
Test group of users believed that new messages were delivered to the Outlook Inbox right after they were left.
Now they say that messages only land in the inbox in outlook when there is a synchronization from the client side. We have not made any changes.
Can anyone confirm if there are any setting on Connection that can "push" messages down to the IMAP clients?
Any details would be very helpful.
Thanks,

IMAP does not really push the message out the client. The client has to ask for it. Outlook can be setup to check the Unity for messages every x minutes or seconds, etc. This works for any IMPA or POP3 server. When it is Exchange, its normally "live" then.
hope this makes sense.
