Re: Unity Connection and SNMP management

SNMP is not supported on UC 2.x It was supported for Unity and for Unity Connection 1.2 But UC moved to Linux in 2.x and SNMP development was not above the line for things to implement So it is being introduced in 7.x

Re: Unity Connection and SNMP management

thanks for this update. the documentation is missing any hints for this.

however, since netmanager requires snmp to monitor unity connection, there is no way to manage CUC...

Re: Unity Connection and SNMP management

Actually, the release notes state the following:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/2x/release/notes/201ucrn.html

Feature Changes

The following features have changed or are unavailable in this release as a result of the change in operating system for Cisco Unity Connection:

•Custom Keypad Mapping unavailable. (Will be added back in a later release.)

•SNMP (Will be added back in a later release.)

•Tools on CiscoUnityTools.com:

-CDE Studio unavailable. (Will be added back in a later release.)

-Gather Unity Subscriber Information unavailable. (Will be added back in a later release.)

-Subscriber Information Dump unavailable. (Will be added back in a later release.)

•A separate voice-recognition server is no longer needed to support a higher number of voice-recognition ports. Cisco Unity Connection can support as many sessions as needed on the Connection server.
