Hi,
I have an issue that is affecting some user voicemails. The huntgroup is 530077 and there is a voice mail account that they use which is 534807. There is a forwarding rule on Unity for 530077 pointing to 534807. When messages are listened to on this account, the message is ok, but at the end of the message there is dialtone. The dial tone is there until the message is deleted.
Does anyone have any idea why there might be Dialtone captured?

Come on guys, no one has any ideas about why we might hear dial tone on the end of the recordings?

What is your inbound connectivity like... I had some weird issue like this with analog lines that where mispatched and some other device like a fax machine was picking up after some time if no one answered. If you hunt pilot stuff is set to no answer to go voicemail you should not hear dial tone at all. I think this would be buggy behavior and tac worthy if you ensure it is not something teleco related.

Hi,
I managed to listen to the issue. The actual issue is when a VM is left, you hear the caller hang up but then you get exactly 1 minute of Dead tone.....At the end of the dead tone you hear the time stamp of the message read out.

Make a test call with the rtmt port monitor, when you hang up you should see the port hang up. If that is not that case something is keeping the connection open. Trick then is to figure out why or what.

Test calls and debugs showed that the call was not dropping even though the caller had hung up. The call was still showing on a gateway as connected even though I had disconnected the call.
This changed when testing with mobiles. My call was made from a SIP provider so perhaps there is an issue with the carrier not disconnecting SIP calls...
