unity connection greetings file

Hi to all,

is it possible to upload a .wav file on unity connection 7.x and use it as greetings prompt for a voice mail?

Regards.

Ale.

Yes, you can do that.

Just browse the admin page to the user/greeting you want and in the media bar there is an option to upload files.

Re: unity connection greetings file

Javalenc, do you happen to know where that file is stored on the unity connection box?  I need to be able to get to an alternate greeting file in particular and see when it was created.  Is there a way to do that in unity connection?

Re: unity connection greetings file

I dont believe you have direct access to thise files like you had in the Windows version.  Basically, go the users Alternate Greeting, scroll down to the media bar, and do a file save as.  You can then save whatever was there in the Alternate Greeting to your local desktop

Re: unity connection greetings file

On another note, you might be able to use COBRAS to grab some stuff as well.  I have not tried to go through users greeting files for any reason.. but every now and then I have to move around a wav file.  I usually just do it as Java mentions.
