Hi,
I'm a bit stuck on the language feature in Unity Connection. I have installed English UK as a language and have found no way to apply this as a system default. As it was a new installation I eventually deleted all the users and re-imported them against a new template which has English UK as the language.
Now what I have found is that when they dial into voicemail they hear english UK but if they don't record a greeting then the system greeting is in US English.
So we are left with half UK and half US which my client is complaining like mad about!
Is there a way to set UK English system wide in Unity Connection?
Many thanks in advance!
Damian

Hi Damian,
It almost sounds as if you are running into this Bug;
CSCsd73374 Bug Details
First Found-in Version 1.1(1)SR1
First Fixed-in Version 1.1(1)ES57
Symptom:
Prior to installing ES16, when you changed the System Default TUI Language under VMS Configuration, the Opening Greeting would play in whatever language the System Default TUI Language was set to.
After applying ES16, the Opening Greeting always plays in US English.
Conditions:
Cisco Unity Connection 1.1(1)SR1 ES1, ES16
Workaround:
none
Further Problem Description:

This isn't exact but does sound eerily similar.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Rob, That is the option I was looking for. VMS config. There was no bug just didn't know where to change the default language.
