Unity Connection RAID degraded

Hi,

I have unity connection 8.0.(HW platform 7825I4). My problem, I shown IR volume Degraded when do changed fault disk. How do resolve this topic.

Ergin,

All you need to do is insert the new disk and the RAID will be rebuilt. You will see the light on the disk flashing during the rebuild and I believe you can view the status using the "show hardware" command.

Replacing Disks in a RAID

Connection supports only replacing a defective  disk in a RAID with a blank disk to repair the RAID. Replacing disks in a  RAID for any other reason is not supported.


Caution Do  not replace a disk in a RAID with a disk that contains data, even if  the replacement disk was originally a disk in the same RAID in the same  server.
