Unity Connection Version 7.1.3ES9.21004-9 - ports hang if phone disconnects during call

If you call UC and use a port even before authentication and diconnect your phone (pull the ethernet cable) you'll lock that port up for ever -- unless you go into CUCM and reset that port or reboot the VM server.

It appears that there is no idle disconnect?

Sure--this normally wouldn't happen -- unless you are a wireless user and you bump the message button while the phone is on your belt -- then walk out of the coverage area .... it happens.  If you don't have 244 ports -- and you have lots of wireless phones -- maybe in a few weeks you'd find your port count too low and impact service.

Anyone seen this before -- better yet, any fix for it?
