Obviously this isn't supported, but chances are it's either permissions (try making the account that the avlic service uses to log on with the installation account). If not, maybe something didn't get created right. You can try:
1. Run the C:\commserver\localize\defaultconfiguration\enu\FixDefaultObjects.sql SQL script via
Query Analyzer or from the command line ("osql -E -i fixdefaultobjects.sql"). NOTE: The
script will make a SQL backup of the Cisco Unity database before modifying it. Also, you must CD to
the above folder if you run it with osql. 2. Run C:\commserver\configmgr.exe. 3. Select and run
"Configure Database Schema". Do not run "Run Database Schema Script" or the database will be
wiped clean! 4. Select and run "Run Rules Configuration Script" 5. Select and run "Configure
Default Location" 6. Run "C:\commserver\configurationsetup\setup.exe /sync" 7. Reboot the server
Again, no guarantees, but maybe this will help.
