Hi All
I am in the process of upgrading to CUCM 7.1 from 4.1(3). The company also have a Cisco 2851 with Unity Express installed on a NM-CUE module. In order for Unity Express to be compatible we also need to upgrade it to a later version. We have purchased an NME-CUE with Unity Express 7.1 pre-installed.
Is it possible to restore a backup from the earlier version of Unity Express (mailboxes etc.) onto the newly installed module once it has been configured? I have read all the documentation about upgrading the software but not seen anything about upgrading the hardware as well.

You can copy the config out of the old CUE and paste it into the new CUE, but you will lose the greetings and messages. I am unaware of anyway to retain the greetings and messages.
