Unity Failover Configuration

I have a Unity 4.0 which is installed in a MCS 7825 and configured with UM.

Currently the client need to add one more server as a Failover.

1)Do i need to reinstall the first server for the failover installation?

2)Do i need to obtain a license for the secondary server?

You do not need to re-install the first server and yes you need a license (that you will add to the first server) that will allow failover.
