Unity for Domino

While Unity is available as a UM only solution, we intend to build it as a VM only solution in the interim period as follows:

- Build a Unity server and install Lotus Notes client on it.

- Build a Domino server and install the DUCS server software, CSADmin etc as per Cisco's installation requirements.

- We will not touch the clients. Therefore users will not use their client machines to read voicemails.

- Users will only use their IP phones to access voicemail

Is this a workable design?

As of Unity 4.2(1), the licensing has changed to allow Unity for Domino in VM only solutions. The VM only config still requires that the Domino server be off the Unity box.
