Unity incorrectly identifies external caller as a subscriber
We are using unified messaging with Unity v4.0(4). When an outside caller calls in to leave a message on our system it incorrectly id's the caller as a subscriber on our system. The inbound phone call is from ### ###-5279 and this is matching a subscriber with extension 5279. Therefore whenever the outside caller calls in and leaves a message, the message says "message from Doe, Jane" instead of saying "message from ### ###-5279".
Re: Unity incorrectly identifies external caller as a subscriber
If you are using PCA, and Jane Doe put her Cell number in the profile for her profile of numbers, she then calls back into a subscriber at another extension to leave a message from her cell, it will say her name because Unity recongizes the subscriber from caller ID.
